MEET JASMINE

Jasmine Forsberg is a New York City-based actress and songwriter. She is currently playing Jane Seymour in SIX THE MUSICAL on Broadway after spending over a year on the road in the First National Tour.

Originally from Orlando, Florida, Jasmine has performed professionally since she was ten years old. She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State University in 2021.

Last summer, Jasmine made her Broadway debut as Maria Luisa in HERE LIES LOVE. The Tony Award-nominated groundbreaking musical experience — featuring Broadway’s first All-Filipino Cast — was created by David Byrne & Fatboy Slim, and directed by Alex Timbers. Her “rhapsodic acid-queen moment in 'Men Will Do Anything’” was celebrated by the Washington Post.

FORSBERG IS THE BRIGHTEST STAR IN THE PRODUCTION. HER IMPRESSIVE VOCAL RANGE IS COMPLIMENTED BY A DEPTH OF CHARACTER THAT FEW ACTORS OF ANY AGE POSSESS.  ”

BROADWAY WORLD

Jasmine has been seen on several regional stages across the country, originating roles in World Premiere productions including Rat in LOVE IN HATE NATION (Two River Theatre) and the Kid in WILD FIRE (Denver Center). She also made her Off-Broadway debut in BROADWAY BOUNTY HUNTER (Greenwich House Theatre) in the summer of 2019.

In addition to performing onstage, Jasmine writes her own music and is often in the recording booth. Her debut single, “do you”, was released in May 2024. Jasmine’s original music was also featured in the Hallmark film “One December Night” (in which she made her TV debut). She recorded her first animation voiceover this summer as Mama Elephant in the Nick Jr. series, “Llamas”.

One of Jasmine’s college mentors always encouraged her to “have something to say.” Jasmine is an artist who is passionate about creating work that is rooted in authenticity, inclusivity, and creativity. When she’s not performing, you can find Jasmine running along the Hudson River, tinkering on the guitar, or chatting on the phone with her parents and two big brothers.
